Hit the treadmill tonight. I really, really need to make this more of a priority in my life. I am not giving myself the time I need to work out on any kind of useful schedule.

I feel good when I work out, drained but content. I want to get back into producing more creative work. Photography, writing, possible comic idea. I need to get working out so I can jump start my brain.

It is appalling just how many calories the “free” breakfast is at work. Bagels and juice and calories oh my!

Just goes to show there’s no such thing as free.

Renewed & iTrain app review

Exercised tonight for the first time in… longer than I can remember. I used the iTrain app from the App Store. While I like the examples of exercises and the exercise programs, the app itself is rather annoying to use.

The videos are excellent, however they stop the music you’re listening to. And there’s no way to restart the music while using the app, you have to quit the app, then switch to the music app. Then restart the music or in my case podcast.

When the app is restarted, it doesn’t keep your place while you’re in a pre-designed program. Overall a good app but kinda annoying.

I used one of the cardio 20-minute programs and found it quite good. I also spent a couple minutes on the treadmill. This also confirms to me I am severely out of shape.

I have also started using the livestrong app to keep track of my caloric intake. I just started using it tonight but it does have a 500,000 item database so anything I eat should be in there.

Now I have to train myself to use it.
